The association MEF du Cotentin is located in Cherbourg that is the main port of Basse-Normandie chosen as a major site to boost French marine-based energy industry and low-carbon economy (mainly Offshore wind industry and Tidal stream turbines). The MEF is involved in employment, inclusion and training.
The MEF du Cotentin (210.000 people) animates various territorial devices related to employment in order to improve their accessibility and consistency and to mobilize local governments, public service of employment, economic actors and social partners to develop and lead a long-term concerted plan for employment and training.
MEF du Cotentin is interested in developing connections with our counterparts in the UK with the goal of co-operating and sharing knowledge in the field of human resources, training needs, scheduling of transferable skills,... etc.
