The East of England Energy Group (EEEGr) is the region’s industry association for energy, representing over 350 members across the supply chain. As a non-profit, business-led group it is committed to the sustained development of the energy sector, including marine renewables (wind, wave & tidal) and carbon capture.
A core activity of EEEGr is its ‘Skills for Energy’ programme. Closely aligned to the strategic aims of BEEMS, the programme focuses upon delivering skilled people into the energy sector and maintaining a sustainable workforce through skills progression.
Pivotal to EEEGr’s role as participant in BEEMS is its connectivity to the energy business community. EEEGr will utilise its considerable knowledge resource to champion the aims and objectives of BEEMS and encourage the engagement of energy companies in cross border research & development actions, evaluation, and the dissemination of outcomes.
